Be our guest on a 10.5 mile canoe trip down the Rum River. Your trip begins at the source of the river in Vineland Bay on Lake Mille Lacs. From there, we'll cross a total of three lakes, a short portage and several miles of winding, scenic river before concluding the trip downstream near the Onamia Dam. Whether you enjoy fishing or simply relaxing on the water, we have a trip for you.
You and your guide will spend approximately 4 hours fishing for Northern Pike, Largemouth and Smallmouth Bass and an occasional Walleye. We supply all rods, reels and tackle.
Travel the same waterways that the Ojibwe, Sioux and the early explorers traveled nearly 200 years ago. Kathio State Park, known for it's bird watching and wildlife, will host the first leg of our journey.
We welcome individuals, families or groups and can accommodate up to 10 people per trip.
